Today Joshua had his 3 week checkup with the pediatrician. He’s growing like a weed and is healthy. Joshua’s still a bit jaundiced, but improving. The poor guy had to get his heal poked again for his PKU test because his first had an “insufficient” sample, but he was perfect and didn’t cry a bit. Both the doctor and nurse commented on his contented nature.
Here are his stats for this visit:
Height 21.25 inches 50th percentile
Weight 8 lb 8 oz 40th percentile
Head 36cm 20th percentile
As a side note, I think this was the best visit I’ve had with more than one kid in tow. Elijah was a perfect angel and wanted to sit on the exam table with Joshua for the 15ish minutes we had to wait. Elijah was loving it so much and Joshua was so content kicking around on his back, that we just hung out singing ABC’s, counting, and loving on each other. It was actually kind of nice!
