I just have to share a little story that I think is encouraging and kind of funny. Yesterday was Take Your Dad To School Day where dads were supposed to bring their kids to school and stay for a snack before school started. It was raining and it had been for days. It’s really wet here and parking at the school was limited. The encouraging news is that the turnout was unexpectedly high to the point that they extended the time and had to find more snacks in the cafeteria. The bad news is that the fathers had to park anywhere they could, including ditches…which were way to wet to park in.
After the event, all the daddies were headed off to work only to find they were stuck in the mud, but Josiah’s hero of a daddy used the wench on his big truck to pull the other hero’s out. These men were just doing their best to be there for their kids and parked where they knew they shouldn’t for a good cause (and probably because they were running late!).
Jacob, and apparently the school staff, were so encouraged to see the support from the school dads. Isn't it great?

How sweet :) I know you are all proud. Wow.. you must have just posted all of these bc I think dad day at school was just yesterday or the day before. Impressive!
