It Always Cracks Me Up

My boys think I have magical powers that allow me to see all things.  The other morning I was standing at the kitchen sink getting a drink with my back to Josiah and I could see his reflection in the kitchen window standing on his chair playing with the blinds.  While drinking I gave a “you better stop what you are doing NOW” grunt and I could see him look around like he knew he was doing wrong but he realized I wasn’t looking at him and he was trying to figure out who it was directed at.  So, I said, “I see you, Josiah, and you better get down.”  to which he replied “how did you see that?”  Jacob and I just had a laugh and kept our secret.

At Christmas we moved my treadmill into our bedroom to make room for the Christmas tree and it has never made it back to the living room.  A picture hangs right above it and I can see the reflection of what the boys are doing while I walk.  They still haven’t figured out how I know who stole what toy from whom or how I know when they are standing or jumping on the bed.  I love it!
