OB update from just shy of 32 weeks:
Heart rate was good this time, in the 130’s to 140’s, and his head was down and ready to go! (Bummer! I don’t get a planned C section this time either :) I think I’m too tired to push! I don’t really feel that way…mostly.)
This little guy has been kicking and pushing around a lot lately. In some ways I feel like I was slow to bond with him in that maternity kind of way because he took so long to make his presence known with kicks. These days he’s making up for it and is making extra room for himself in my heart.
I’ve decided he needs a brand new going home from the hospital outfit because, after all, he will wear plenty of hand me downs in his future. Not that he’ll care. I haven’t been able to find anything particularly cute, cozy, and practical, but the shopping alone has helped me transition from feeling like his arrival is a far off event to anticipating snuggling him in JUST 8 WEEKS, give or take. And I have yet to wash all his little clothes and prepare for him, which both freaks me out and makes me excited, but step one of moving Elijah in with Josiah has been done. That was a feat in itself.
I promised a post about his name awhile back, but haven’t followed through yet. That is coming.

So happy for you, Abby! I have been thinking about #3 lately...Aaron says I'm nuts. ;) Gotta work on him. The boys of course are on my side. :)
Enjoy these last few weeks with 2!
Clearly God knows some women are strong enough to handle natural childbirth, and some aren't! You can do it, hang in there! ;) (you=strong one able to handle it. me=apparently not!)
