Trucks, Tractors, And More!

This is a little boy’s dream!  We’ve been meaning to go see all the big equipment at Caleb’s work.  Now that he has resigned, we figured we’d better do it quick, so to Lake City we went!

This is the machine Caleb runs at the big forest fires.  Sorry the picture is bad, but I was looking up as it was loaded on his truck which we got to get in here below.

“Honk! Honk!”  I about jumped out of my skin the first time they did this with the siren and I was walking in front of the truck!  And just so you know, Jacob is standing on a step a my waist level.  Big trucks are little boys’ dreams!

Fire hose!Don’t my boys have great men in their lives?  In addition to others, both my brothers just love them!

Elijah’s turn!  He wasn’t that into it.

Wow!  We were going to drive this brand new huge machine, but the key was left on and the battery was dead.  Bummer

So Caleb took Josiah on a drive in this smaller one instead.  Still not too shabby!

He was excited to drive this forklift, too.

And what little boy wouldn’t love a fire truck?And last but not least, they got to take a ride in this chopper! 

(Not really, but wouldn’t that have been great?  It was just flying over, but it added to the fun!)

 

And while I don’t have pictures, I have to add that we had dinner afterwards and thanks to a great deal, 3 adults and 3 kids got to eat for $20!  Just had to say that.
