We finally put up our Christmas tree the other day. Josiah was really excited about it because he helped Grandma and his cousins decorate hers and he’s seen them in other various places and so he was excited to have one at our house. Here are some pictures of the event.
The excitement builds as the tree comes out of the box…
“I helped too...er… at least I waited patiently to sleep under the newly erected tree.”
Tightening the bolts that hold it upright. Such a good job.
Pulling Daddy out from under the tree. He was calling, “help, help!”
Yes, I was in fact there. And yes, I was wearing reindeer antlers. Josiah refused to wear his but has worn them repetitively since.
Elijah did his job well, too. I know, I know…sucking on beads is bad for babies.
So excited about putting on the ornaments.
I would show you a picture of the finished product, but it isn’t finished yet. We rushed to do what we did because we had somewhere to be and what was done has been largely dismantled or rearranged by Josiah’s little fingers since. Elijah has mostly left it alone. Maybe I’ll finish it this week.

Finished or not, it looks good to me! Ours is prelighted, and I added about 5 ornaments...I figured the more I put up meant the more I had to take down and put away! haha
I'm impressed Elijah has left it alone! Henry LOVES our tree, but it's up on a table, so he looks at it from afar. :)
