Site Prep Step 1: Tree Removal

This little toy came to stay at our house for a few days:

We love our builder!

Plucking trees from the ground like weeds.  It was kind of sad, but thrilling, too!

A meeting of the minds prior to taking down the big one just feet from our house.  It was Joshua’s naptime, but we chose to vacate the house…just in case.

We now have lots of firewood for our new fireplace, not to mention a lot of light in our house from our new sunny (dirt covered) front yard.
