Playdate with Henry at the Splash Park!
Elijah had fixated on this girl following her around and always getting right in front of her to look in her face and I didn’t know why, but then I saw him move a lock of her hair that had been hanging in her eye out of the way, then he left her alone. What a sweet, helpful gentleman :) He really does have a sweet, tender side.
My work party at the springs:
I hate cold water and I’m not a good swimmer, so I’m so thankful for a husband who is willing to do swimming duty with the boys while I sit on the sidelines. I spared myself the cold and my coworkers the sight of my second trimester pregnant self in a bathing suit :)
Even in the water, dirt is the main attraction.
Luke’s birthday party at the pool. Apparently I didn’t take many pictures.
Josiah sitting on the sidelines. Turns out he didn’t feel good and was obviously sick by that night.
First family day of the fall. We went to walk a trail, eat a breakfast at the Waffle House (hadn’t had that “joy” since I was a kid), and visit a pumpkin patch on the first Saturday with beautiful weather.
This is take 2, hence Josiah’s lack of interest. Take 1 was a side view of my 8 month pregnant self and I looked massive :)
Hay ride at the pumpkin patch.
And these two walked through our yard one morning. We often have deer walk through, but we don’t have bucks very often and these hung around awhile giving the boys a thrill.Have I ever mentioned that we love living here? :)
